Meghan Markle Makes Surprise Paris Fashion Week Debut at Balenciaga
Paris,France – In a fashion world moment,Meghan Markle,the Duchess of Sussex,made her first-ever appearance at Paris Fashion Week tonight,attending the Balenciaga spring 2026 runway show. The debut marks a meaningful return to the fashion circuit for Markle, who previously frequented New York Fashion Week during her acting career but has largely remained absent from the international fashion calendar since marrying Prince Harry in 2018.
Markle was photographed arriving at the show in a striking all-white Balenciaga ensemble, consisting of a white cape and silky button-down shirt, paired with black pointed pumps and a sleek, slicked-back bun. she joined fellow attendees Anne Hathaway and Lauren Sánchez Bezos to witness Pierpaolo Piccioli’s first collection as creative director of the iconic fashion house.
Prior to her royal duties,Markle was a regular fixture at new York Fashion Week,attending shows for designers including Hervé Léger (spring 2014),tory burch,Peter som,Wes Gordon,and Misha Nonoo while starring in the television series Suits. Following her marriage and increased royal engagements, her presence at fashion events diminished.
The appearance comes during a busy week for the Duchess, who has been expanding her lifestyle brand, As Ever, with the launch of a new Sauvignon Blanc. She also announced the return of popular items from the brand, including her apricot spread and orange marmalade, sharing on Instagram Stories, “The girls are back in town,” and “they brought a friend.”
