That was probably the famous sting in the wasp nest: the reporting of the Nordkurier about a WhatsApp from the State Student Council Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, in which student delegates had been unequivocally asked to resign at the general assembly last week due to their absence at the general assembly, the entire students nest whirled up. Fearing that the assembly of delegates would no longer be quorate due to a lack of mass, this WhatsApp had existed including harsh choice of words, it was said by parts of the student body.

The board around Felix Wizowsky, chairman of the State student council, distanced itself: “We cannot affirm or deny the correctness of the statement. We cannot judge that a person could have expressed this statement as a wit.”
“Student interests don’t count anything anymore”
However, an insider can form a judgment from the State student council, which in his own words comes from the “inner circle” and has now unpacked the Nordkurier. For fear of possible reprisals, the insider asked for anonymity. The name of the informant is known to the editorial team.
“The board does not work, there is a rough tone, there is no clear division of labor,” said the insider. At the beginning he thought that it was a privilege to work in the State Student Council to represent the interests of the students from all over Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. In the meantime, however, he has noticed that it was not about the interests of everyone, but about the interests of individuals from the board, the student emphasized. “If you are too critical, the board quickly has you on the screen. It is blatant what is going on in the state student council.” The insider continues: “On the outside, one tries to give the impression that everyone is chic. But nothing works inside. Student interests no longer count.”
