Jeevan Ramapriya Appointed to massart Board of Trustees

Boston, MA – June 30, 2025 – The Massachusetts College of Art and Design (MassArt) has announced the appointment of Jeevan Ramapriya, a leader in international business development and public service, to its Board of Trustees. Ramapriya’s extensive background in global trade,policy,and community engagement will be a valuable asset to the college’s governing body.

Ramapriya’s Extensive Background

Currently, Jeevan ramapriya serves as the Executive director of the Massachusetts Office of International Trade and Investment (MOITI), the Commonwealth’s leading agency for promoting foreign trade.In this capacity, he spearheads initiatives to attract foreign direct investment, facilitates export opportunities for small businesses, and maintains connections with over 60 foreign consulates and international trade organizations.

Ramapriya’s career encompasses both public and private sectors. Before his role at MOITI, he was Managing Director of Regulatory, Industry, and Government Affairs at State Street Bank and Trust Company. He also served as Deputy Chief of Staff to a Massachusetts State Senator, where he directed policy efforts in economic development, transportation, and public safety. His professional journey began as a technology consultant with Accenture. He holds degrees from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and an Executive MBA from the TRIUM Global Executive MBA Program, a collaboration between the London School of Economics, HEC Paris, and NYU Stern.
