Upper Arlington, Ohio – A man and five teenagers are facing criminal charges following an incident stemming from a toilet paper prank, according to the Upper Arlington Police Division. The altercation, which occurred on Nottingham Road on September 5th, escalated after the teens allegedly toilet-papered the man’s property.
The incident gained attention after a video circulated on social media showing the man driving his vehicle toward the group of teenagers and allegedly making threats involving a firearm. While no initial 911 calls were made regarding the event,police launched an investigation upon discovering the video online.The charges highlight the potential for escalation in seemingly minor incidents and underscore the importance of immediately reporting concerning behavior to law enforcement.
police stated the man faces charges of aggravated menacing, disorderly conduct, and reckless driving. The five teenagers have been charged with trespassing, and their cases will be handled through the Upper Arlington Juvenile Diversion Program.
