MALANG CITY, East Java – In commemoration of the 79th Bhayangakara Day and the 73rd Bhayangkari Movement Unity Day (HKGB), the Malang City Police, in collaboration with the malang City Health office, provided free health services including Pap smears and HPV vaccines on June 26, 2025. The initiative targeted 200 participants, with 100 slots for Pap smears and 100 for HPV vaccinations for individuals aged 15 and older.
Free Health Services Mark Dual Celebrations
The health service event, known as Baktikes, took place at the Sanika Satyawada Ballroom. Malang City Police Chief, Kombes Pol Nanang Haryono, emphasized that this initiative reflects the National Police’s commitment to reproductive health for its members, their families, and the broader community. “This free Pap smear and vaccination service is an early prevention effort against HPV infections and cervical cancer, especially for vulnerable groups and children,” stated Kombes Pol Nanang.
