Luke Rockhold extended a message of respect to Darren Till following a brutal knockout loss at Misfits Boxing 22 on Saturday night. The former UFC and Strikeforce champion was defeated by a left hand in the third round at the AO arena in Manchester,England,leaving him briefly in a compromised position against the ropes.
The fight, held after a week of heated exchanges and near-brawls between the two fighters, saw Rockhold initially take an early lead in the first round before Till scored a late knockdown. Till continued to build momentum into the second round, ultimately securing the knockout victory in the third.
Following the event, Rockhold shared a photo on Instagram with Till, accompanied by the message: “Shit happens, it’s all love [Darren Till]. All the best to you brother.”
