LDC Unveils Expanded Product Lineup at 8th China International Import Expo
SHANGHAI – Louis dreyfus Company (LDC) is bolstering its presence in teh Chinese market with a diverse range of new offerings in animal nutrition, food ingredients, and soluble coffee, unveiled at the 8th annual China International Import Expo (CIIE) in shanghai. The move aligns with LDC’s strategy to expand its downstream operations and capitalize on growing demand within the region.
A key highlight of LDC’s showcase is the launch of its ’Soyadoc‘ specialty feed protein brand, featuring a extensive portfolio including advanced fermented soybean meal, yeast-enriched enzymatic protein, a plant-based fishmeal replacer, and fortified lecithin. These products are designed to enhance animal nutrient utilization,improve health,and increase breeding cost efficiency.
“Leveraging the innovation capabilities of LDC’s R&D Centre in Shanghai,as well as our integrated production facilities,our animal nutrition ingredients aim to create value for feed and breeding enterprises in China and support them in meeting regulatory requirements to phase out antibiotics in feed,” stated Shengshu Huang,LDC’s Chief Technology Officer and Head of Specialty Feed Ingredients for North Asia.
Beyond animal nutrition, LDC presented its new line of nutrition and health ingredients, including phytosterol esters, conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), and omega-3 oils, targeting the dairy, functional foods, and dietary supplement industries. the company also expanded its food ingredient portfolio with Spongolit® aerating emulsifier and Lamequick® whipping agents for the baking sector, complementing existing products like lecithin, glycerin, and Vitamin E.
Responding to china’s rapidly expanding coffee market,LDC showcased its range of instant coffee products sourced from Brazil and Vietnam – encompassing spray-dried,freeze-dried,and coffee concentrate options.
