Liverpool snub leaves door open for Manchester United to sign £ 35m star – EzAnime.net

Manchester United are ready to jump after Liverpool rejected a move by a £ 35 million Bundesliga central defender, while Arsenal have been quoted £ 100 million for an attacking target, both on Thursday’s Paper Talk.

MAN UTD FOR SWOOP AFTER LIVERPOOL CB SNUB

Manchester United are reportedly set to take advantage of Liverpool’s decision against a move by RB Leipzig center-back Ibrahima Konate this summer.

Jurgen Klopp’s men have been monitoring the Frenchman for some time and they were expected to make an offer. However, a report on Wednesday revealed that the Premier League champions are no longer interested in the player.

That has apparently opened the door for United to rush in, with Ole Gunnar Solskjaer still in the market for a new partner for Harry Maguire.

The 21-year-old has impressed alongside Dayot Upamecano at the heart of Leipzig’s defense, with the latter already securing a move to Bayern Munich next season.

As for Konate, it will cost around € 40 million (£ 34.5 million). That figure is around the range that United He wants to spend on a new central defense recruit.

The Daily Mirror report claims that Konate’s style of play could be the perfect match for Maguire.

And with Liverpool now out of the picture, the Red Devils could get a relatively free run over the talented defender.
