Breaking: Newcastle United forward Alexander Isak is reportedly a target for Saudi Pro League champions Al-Hilal, with a potential bid of £50 million ($63.5 million) being prepared, according to Sky Sports News on August 14, 2023. This progress comes amid ongoing speculation regarding outgoings from st.James’ Park.

Newcastle are hesitant to sell isak, who joined from Real Sociedad in August 2022 for a reported £63 million, unless they can secure adequate replacements. The club’s sporting director,Dan Ashworth,is tasked with identifying suitable attacking options should Isak depart. Though, their pursuit of several attacking targets this summer has proven unsuccessful.

The Magpies have been rebuffed in attempts to sign Benjamin Sesko,20,of RB Leipzig, with the Slovenian international reportedly favouring a move to Manchester United. Sesko, who stands at 6’5″, has a release clause of approximately €65 million. Newcastle also missed out on deals for Ekitike, Liam Delap of Manchester City, and Bryan Mbeumo of Brentford
