Atlanta, GA – Liv Morgan will announce her WrestleMania 42 opponent this Monday on WWE Raw, the company confirmed Saturday. The 2026 Women’s Royal Rumble winner has spent the past several weeks evaluating her options, appearing on both Raw and SmackDown to assess potential challenges.

Morgan secured her title opportunity after winning the Women’s Royal Rumble match in Riyadh on January 31, 2026. Following the victory, Morgan indicated she would grab her time in selecting her opponent, stating on February 2nd, “I’m sure you guys are really curious as to who I’m going to pick as my opponent for WrestleMania. Well, you’re going to have to wait just a little bit longer as I don’t know—this is such a massive decision and I really don’t want to rush it.”

Morgan’s choices are currently limited to Stephanie Vaquer, the Women’s World Champion on Raw, and Jade Cargill, the WWE Women’s Champion on SmackDown. Morgan has already engaged in confrontations with both champions. On February 2nd, after Vaquer successfully defended her title on Raw, Morgan attacked the champion, delivering an “Oblivion” and posing with Vaquer’s championship belt.

Morgan also traveled to SmackDown to confront Cargill, emphasizing that she is the first wrestler to ever pin the champion.

Adding a layer of complexity to Morgan’s decision is her relationship with Raquel Rodriguez. While the two have collaborated, Morgan eliminated Rodriguez from the Royal Rumble match, and Rodriguez has publicly expressed her desire to challenge Cargill for the WWE Women’s Championship.

Monday’s Raw, broadcasting live from the State Farm Arena in Atlanta, Georgia, will also feature a celebration honoring the career of AJ Styles, with talent from SmackDown reportedly traveling to participate.

The announcement of Morgan’s WrestleMania opponent is scheduled to take place during the February 23 episode of Raw.
