LINCOLN, Neb. (KLKN) - A woman was robbed Friday night while seated in a vehicle near a south Lincoln ATM, police reported.
Officers responded to a robbery call at approximately 10:30 p.m. at a wells Fargo Bank ATM located near 27th Street and Nebraska parkway. A 48-year-old woman was a passenger in the vehicle when an unknown male suspect approached and demanded her purse. the incident highlights the potential for crime even in everyday locations and prompted an ongoing examination by the lincoln Police Department.
According to police, the suspect, wearing a ski mask, began banging on the vehicle’s window. When the woman lowered the window, the suspect forcibly took her purse and an undisclosed amount of cash, totaling around $110.
