Lightroom 9.0 Automates Photo Editing with AI-Powered Tools

Adobe has released Lightroom 9.0, introducing a suite of artificial‍ intelligence-powered features designed to streamline photo editing ​workflows.‍ The update focuses ​on automating previously manual tasks like retouching, image selection, and dust removal, promising significant time savings for photographers of all skill levels.

The new version leverages Adobe Sensei, its AI engine, to offer “assisted Image Selection” which intelligently identifies sharp, well-exposed⁣ photos, and automatic retouching capabilities to remove blemishes and imperfections. Additionally, a new dust removal ⁣tool simplifies cleaning up scans ⁤and ‌older images. Lightroom 9.0 is available via annual ​subscription,⁣ with ‍pricing starting at 14.49 euros per⁣ month for a plan including 1 TB of⁣ cloud storage,​ or 23.79‍ euros per month for a photography plan bundling ⁤Lightroom CC, Lightroom Classic, and⁣ Photoshop ​with 1 ‌TB of storage.
