Beijing, China – Lenovo has officially launched the Legion R7000 2025 gaming laptop in the Chinese market, boasting a powerful combination of AMDS Zen 4 architecture and NVIDIA’s Blackwell GPU. The new model is positioned as a high-performance, portable gaming solution targeting both gamers and content creators.

The Legion R7000 2025 features up to an AMD Ryzen 9 7940HX processor with 8 cores and 16 threads, paired with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 40 series graphics cards. The laptop is equipped with a 180Hz refresh rate display, enhancing visual fluidity during fast-paced gaming sessions. Lenovo has implemented an advanced cooling system to manage thermal output and maintain optimal performance under heavy loads.

Weighing approximately 2 kilograms (4.4 pounds), the laptop maintains a relatively portable form factor for a gaming machine. It includes a 60WH battery and supports 140W Fast Charging via USB-C, capable of reaching up to 70% charge in 30 minutes. The chassis is constructed from a magnesium alloy for increased durability and reduced weight.

The sales package includes a pre-installed copy of Windows 11 Home and a lifetime license for Microsoft Office Home Edition. The laptop offers a variety of ports, including USB-A, USB-C, HDMI 2.1, and a dedicated headphone/microphone jack.

Currently, Lenovo has not announced global availability for the Legion R7000 2025. However, its release in China indicates Lenovo’s commitment to competing in the mid-range gaming laptop segment throughout 2024. Pricing in China starts at approximately ¥8,999 (roughly $1,250 USD) for the base configuration.
