Lee Jun-ho Returns with “Typhoon ⁤Boss,” Following‌ Successes​ in “Red sleeves” and “King the‍ Land”

Lee Jun-ho is set to return to ⁣television with the new tvN drama “Typhoon Boss” (also known as “Sergeant⁢ Typhoon”), ‍premiering ⁢on november 11th at 9:10 PM. The series, planned by Studio‍ Dragon and produced by imagineers,‍ Studio PIC and Tree Studio, tells the story of Kang Tae-poong, a novice trader⁢ who‍ rises⁤ to ‌become⁢ the president of a trading company during the 1997 IMF crisis in South‍ Korea.

Earlier teasers ‌have highlighted Lee Jun-ho’s transformation for the role, showcasing his portrayal of a character evolving ⁤from a free-spirited individual in Apgujeong to a determined CEO fighting to protect his company.

This ‌latest role follows a string of successful performances⁢ that have solidified Lee Jun-ho’s position as a ⁢leading actor. In 2021,he captivated audiences with his portrayal of King Jeongjo Lee San in MBC’s​ historical ⁣drama “Red Sleeves.” The series achieved a peak viewership rating​ of 17.4%, with Lee Jun-ho praised for his nuanced depiction of ‌the monarch’s burdens and inner character.
