A man died Saturday evening following a stabbing in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. In the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive, near West Lake Mead Boulevard.
Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an unconscious man bleeding in a parking lot, Lieutenant Robert Price of the LVMPD stated. Upon arrival, officers found the man suffering from an apparent stab wound. Medical personnel attempted to provide aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Investigators believe the victim was with two or three other individuals when an argument escalated, resulting in the stabbing. The suspect then fled the area, and remains at large as of Sunday morning.
Authorities are currently investigating the homicide and have indicated they believe the incident to be isolated, posing no immediate threat to the public.
