February 15, 2026 Emma Walker – News Editor News

A man died Saturday evening following a stabbing in the northwest Las Vegas Valley, according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department. The incident occurred around 5:45 p.m. In the 2000 block of North Buffalo Drive, near West Lake Mead Boulevard.

Police responded to multiple 911 calls reporting an unconscious man bleeding in a parking lot, Lieutenant Robert Price of the LVMPD stated. Upon arrival, officers found the man suffering from an apparent stab wound. Medical personnel attempted to provide aid, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigators believe the victim was with two or three other individuals when an argument escalated, resulting in the stabbing. The suspect then fled the area, and remains at large as of Sunday morning.

Authorities are currently investigating the homicide and have indicated they believe the incident to be isolated, posing no immediate threat to the public. The LVMPD is requesting assistance from anyone with information regarding the stabbing. Individuals with details are encouraged to contact the LVMPD homicide section at 702-828-3521, or Crime Stoppers anonymously at 702-385-5555.

The investigation is ongoing, and police have not released the identity of the victim or any details regarding a potential motive.
