KZN Business Intimidation: Court Interdict and Chamber Condemnation

A court in Pietermaritzburg has granted an urgent interdict against Laco, an action that includes the formal authorization of police intervention.

The legal order, issued in the capital of KwaZulu-Natal, provides law enforcement with the authority to step in to ensure the terms of the interdict are upheld. This judicial move targets Laco in a matter requiring urgent court attention.

The Durban Chamber has formally condemned the intimidation of businesses within the region. The organization, operating out of the province’s largest city, has denounced the use of coercive tactics against commercial enterprises.
