Berlin – January 16 (KUNA) – Kuwait’s Ambassador to Germany Reem Al-Khalid emphasized the importance of participating in the Agricultural Exhibition (Green Week),which kicked off in Berlin today,Friday,and continues until January 25th.
al-Khalid stated to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that Kuwait’s participation for the second consecutive year confirms the country’s interest in food security issues.
According to Al-Khalid, this year’s participation is notably significant due to the presence of the Public authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries at the Global Forum for Food and Agriculture, with high-level international attendance.
She added that the exhibition is an crucial platform for showcasing innovative solutions in the agricultural sector through the presentation of innovative models based on modern technologies and artificial intelligence, which supports Kuwait’s efforts to enhance its food security within the framework of Kuwait Vision 2035.
Kuwait’s participation in the exhibition included Abeer Al-Jassar, Deputy Director General for Financial and Administrative Affairs at the Public Authority for Agricultural Affairs and Fisheries.
This year’s edition saw high-level participation, including approximately 80 Ministers of Agriculture from around the world.
