Halle Victory for Germans
Krawietz and Puetz secured a hard-fought win in Halle. They defeated the Italian team of Simone Bolelli and Andrea Vavassori with a score of 6-3, 7-6(4). This win marked their fourth ATP Tour title as a team and their third on home soil.
“Tough battle every time. Last time was okay, but not two in a row to be honest!” Krawietz said during the trophy ceremony.

The pair, now tied 3-3 in their head-to-head series, saved all three break points they encountered, according to Infosys ATP Stats. The duo is currently in seventh place in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings.

Cash and Glasspool Triumph at Queen’s Club
At the HSBC Championships, Julian Cash and Lloyd Glasspool won their second ATP 500 title of the season. They overcame Nikola Mektic and Michael Venus with a score of 6-3, 6-7(5), 10-6 at the Queen’s Club. This achievement marks their third ATP Tour title this season, adding to their wins in Brisbane and Doha. Doubles tennis continues to draw fans, with a 15% increase in viewership this year (Tennis viewership report).
The duo’s victory was supported by enthusiastic home fans. They are currently ranked fourth in the PIF ATP Live Doubles Teams Rankings.
“Out here today [there were] some tight moments and they got loud when it got to the end there, and it really helped us get across the line,” Cash said.
“The crowd was amazing. I think we stuck to our guns, stuck to serving our spots, it really paid off. We served really well and upper our level when it mattered,” Glasspool shared.
