Kanye West showed for the first time on the catwalks of the Fashion Week on Sunday 2 October.

Kanye West struck again by opening the Balenciaga Summer 2023 collection show, with a voice that stole the show from the entire collection.

Dressed in black, Ye stepped off a muddy podium wearing leather pants, a jacket with a “safety” patch and a baseball cap. According to some magazines, the children of Kanye North, Chicago, Psalm and Saint West all participated in the Balenciaga show, as did Kylie Jenner, Doja Cat and many other artists.

Balenciaga’s creative director Denma explained the muddy catwalk as “A metaphor for digging into the truth and being down to earth”.

West’s runway appearance comes two weeks after the launch of Yeezy Gap Engineered by Balenciaga Part Two. A collection available through the official websites of Yeezy Gap and Balenciaga, as well as other online suppliers such as Farfetch, Mytheresa and Luisaviaroma, the collection offers a range of outerwear and sweaters.
