“Jumanji 3″ Filming to Begin This November, Dwayne Johnson Confirms
Fans of teh jumanji reboot series have reason to celebrate: production on the third installment is slated to begin this November, according to Dwayne ”The Rock” Johnson. The proclamation resolves a nearly six-year wait following the prosperous 2019 release of Jumanji: The Next Level, which grossed $800 million worldwide before its theatrical run was curtailed by the onset of the COVID-19 pandemic.
The long-anticipated sequel faced delays due to Johnson’s demanding schedule and reported script challenges. Though, johnson’s recent update signals forward momentum on a project expected to conclude the current reboot storyline. Kevin Hart,a co-star in the franchise,previously indicated the third film would serve as a finale.
Sony Pictures has officially set a U.S. theatrical release date for Jumanji 3 of December 11, 2026. All four leading actors from the previous films are confirmed to return for the sequel.
