Julianna Barwick and Mary Lattimore are joining forces for a new collaborative album and extensive tour, launching a shared musical journey celebrated for its atmospheric depth and instrumental prowess. The duo recently unveiled “Summons,” the first single from their forthcoming record, offering a glimpse into the ethereal soundscapes fans can expect.
The pair,both renowned for their individual contributions to ambient and experimental music,will embark on a tour spanning North America and Europe this winter and spring. Barwick, known for her layered vocal compositions and looping techniques, and Lattimore, celebrated for her harp-based explorations, promise a unique live experience blending their distinct styles. The tour kicks off november 7th in Utrecht,Netherlands,at Le guess Who?,and culminates April 21st in Düdingen,Switzerland,at Bad Bonn.
