Ubisoft Toronto Welcomes Back David Grivel to Lead Splinter Cell Remake
Toronto, ON – December 12, 2025 – In a notable move for the highly anticipated Splinter Cell remake, Ubisoft Toronto has brought back David Grivel as director. Grivel previously served as studio head at Boss Alien, a role he assumed following NaturalMotion’s acquisition of the developer in 2012. Before that, he held positions at Disney’s Black Rock Studio, climax, Electronic Arts, Bullfrog Productions, and Microprose.

Vince Farquharson Joins Good Gate Media as Chief Games officer
Industry veteran Vince Farquharson has joined Good Gate Media as its new Chief Games Officer, as part of a broader leadership expansion at the cross-platform entertainment company. Farquharson initially joined Good Gate Media as an advisor and currently mentors for Creative UK and Games London, advises Bandit Island Games, serves as a director at Optimal Creative, and is an angel investor for The game Angels. He previously held executive roles at Bossa Studios, Atari, Jagex, and THQ.
Holly Watson Appointed Senior Operations Manager at The Pokémon Company International
The Pokémon Company International has appointed Holly Watson as Senior Operations Manager, Customer Support.Watson joins from Dreamhaven, where she was Head of Player Support, and previously held the same role at Singularity 6. She began her career in the games industry in 2020 at riot Games as a Player support Specialist, rising through the ranks over 11 years to positions including Outsourcing Coordinator, NA Player Support Game and Account Lead, Player Support Central Game Lead, Contact Experience Lead, and Senior Contact Experience Lead.

Rokky Expands team with Two New Hires
PC distribution platform Rokky has welcomed Anastasia Dvoinishnikova as influencer Marketing Specialist and Zhang Shui Qi as Business Advancement Manager. Dvoinishnikova brings four years of experience in influencer marketing, most recently as Marketing Project Manager at AAA Agency. Rokky noted she has “already made a great start, providing her expertise on the world of influencers and helping bring new eyes to both Rokky and our gaming clients.”
Zhang Shui Qi will focus on the Chinese gaming market. “The Chinese gaming market is one of the most important, and yet it is wholly seperate from the shared western gaming market,” Rokky explained. “It has its own rules, its own audiences and developers trying to get their games released within it, or out of it, have more hoops to jump through.So, we’re excited to welcome Shui Qi aboard and offer her expertise to support the Chinese games market and Rokky’s position within it.”
