Jelgava is preparing for a notable concert event, prompting a series of traffic, parking, and public transport modifications to ensure smooth operations and attendee safety. organizers are urging attendees to plan their travel accordingly, highlighting specific restrictions and alternative transportation options.
Parking and Traffic Restrictions:
Drivers attending the concert are advised to be aware of designated parking areas and temporary traffic closures. Available parking includes:

following the concert,a section of Great Street will experience traffic closures. From approximately 23:10 to 00:30, traffic will be closed on Great Street between Academy street and Cukura Street, and from Cukura Street to the intersection of Kalnciema Road and Garozas Street. During this period, vehicles will be unable to exit parking lots located behind jelgava Castle and on Pilssalas street.to assist attendees, the navigation app Waze will feature a map indicating parking locations and traffic restrictions.
Water Transport Restrictions:
On the day of the event, water transport will also be subject to restrictions. The Lielupe section, from the Lielupe Bridge to the Jelgava Yacht Club, will be closed to water transport from 18:00 to 24:00 on July 26th.
Public Transport Enhancements:
In collaboration with AS Passenger train, additional carriages will be added to Riga-Jelgava trains on the concert day. Moreover, an extra train service to Riga will depart from Jelgava station at 00:45 (and from Sugar Factory station at 00:50) after the concert. The closest train station to the concert venue is Sugar Factory, approximately a 15-minute walk away. The train is scheduled to arrive in Riga at 01:30. Attendees are reminded that certain items are not permitted inside the concert venue. These include:

Selfie sticks, and stands for photo and video equipment
Folding chairs
All types of drinks and food (accept for baby and specialized food)
Professional photo, video, and audio equipment (unless specifically permitted by the event organizer)
Firearms, sharp objects, motorcycle helmets, skateboards, and other active sports equipment
Animals
All types of weapons and self-defense devices
Smoke candles and any pyrotechnic articles
Fire-resistant, explosive, poisonous, toxic, corrosive substances, flammable objects or substances, radioactive materials
Narcotic and psychotropic substances (except for those permitted in the Republic of Latvia and Ukraine)
Stems of any material (e.g.,wooden stems,fishing rods)
Clothing or its elements depicting the symbolism of the Russian Federation and Belarus,or items that could cause provocation or disorder
Bulky items and bags (volume greater than 5 liters)
Inflatable balloons
Any other object deemed by the organizer to pose a danger or disruption to other visitors or the concert.
