iQOO is generating meaningful buzz in the tech world with the upcoming launch of its flagship smartphone, the iQOO 15, scheduled for October 20th, 2025. The company has begun revealing details about the device,focusing on a striking new design and a display poised to rival Apple’s best.
The iQOO 15 boasts a bold aesthetic,highlighted by a prominent camera module in the upper left corner of the rear panel. iQOO describes the design as resembling “an Outer Space Ship that floated on the glass,” aiming for a futuristic and elegant look. The company claims the new design represents a significant evolution in both appearance and material quality, offering a more robust, refined, and seamless feel compared to previous models.

Camera Capabilities Take Center Stage
According to industry insider Digital Chat station, the iQOO 15 will feature a sturdy metal frame and considerable improvements to its camera system. The standout feature is expected to be a 3x 50MP telephoto periscope camera, positioning the iQOO 15 as a strong contender in mobile photography.
A Display That Aims to Outshine the Competition
Perhaps the moast impressive aspect of the iQOO 15 is its display. The device will incorporate a 6.85-inch 2K Samsung panel utilizing LTPO technology. This translates to incredibly thin bezels, maximizing screen real estate for an immersive viewing experience.
iQOO’s product manager boldly claims the screen will surpass the iPhone 17 Pro Max in both detail and brightness. Early data suggests a peak brightness reaching 98.1%, currently the highest in the industry. Further enhancing the display is a polarization-preserving technology for improved power efficiency and an anti-diffraction (AR) layer, ensuring optimal visibility in diverse lighting conditions. iQOO is calling this screen component the most expensive currently found in Android smartphones.
Software and Availability
The iQOO 15 will ship with Originos 6, based on android 16, specifically tailored for the Chinese market. Pre-orders are already open through major retailers in China.
