International Congress Focuses on Holistic Wellbeing and Healthy Aging
The II International Congress of Pura Vida Welfare is set to deliver over 15 hours of training focused on a thorough approach to health and wellbeing. The event will feature a blend of master conferences and round table discussions addressing crucial topics including physical exercise, nutrition, personal branding, and emotional intelligence.Attendees will have the opportunity to learn from leading experts and gain practical tools applicable to both their personal and professional lives.
A distinguished lineup of speakers will headline the Congress. José Vidal, a personal coach and international instructor, will present on “more than move, live better: functional training.” Andrés Oller, an emotional coach specializing in personal leadership, will lead a session titled “it’s not luck, it’s values.” María Casas, a pharmaceutical, nutritionist, and coach, will explore ”the power of habits: your passport to more years and better life.”
Further enriching the program, Omar A. Hernández-López, a researcher in exercise physiology, will discuss “mitochondrial fitness as an axis of metabolic health: an integrating approach from nutrition and exercise.” luiz Carnevalli, a doctor of cell and molecular biology, will address “leading with meaning: essential skills to inspire and build teams with soul.”
additional speakers include paloma Quintana, a dietitian-nutritionist, presenting on “eating so as not to be: nutrition against sarcopenia”; Sonsoles Hernández Sánchez, an expert in exercise and renal disease, focusing on “the reality of training people who live a second chance”; and César Chávez, a doctor in physical activity and health, sharing insights on “movement codes: physiological strategies for active longevity.”
The Congress will also host two key round table discussions. The frist,“Real transformation: exercise as an engine of change in adulthood,” will feature pere Ripoll (Director of Fiesta Park Sportclub),Eliseo da Silva (CEO of Fitness Corpore Sports Club and Health),Gloria Mera (Medical Coordinator of the IMED Alcoy Hospital,leading the Obesity and Nutrition Unit of the Ilahy Clinic),and Raúl Ríos (Doctor of Physical Activity and Sports sciences and Professor at the University of Alicante).
The second round table, “Woman, menopause and training in maturity,” will bring together María Braquehais (creator of the Mind & Body+40 method), Mar Sánchez (psychologist in the Social Services Area of L’Alfàs del Pi), José Luis Herreros (president of Colef CV), and Marcos García (social educator at the City Council of L’Alfàs del Pi) to discuss the unique challenges and benefits of exercise for mature women.
