Inklang HD 10 Stream Connect Gains Roon Ready & Spotify lossless Support Via Firmware Update
Hamburg, Germany - Inklang has announced that its HD 10 Stream Connect now supports both Roon and Spotify Lossless streaming via a new firmware update, elevating the device’s audio capabilities too 24 bit/44.1 kHz and addressing a previous limitation of Spotify’s streaming quality. The update expands the versatility of Inklang’s Ayers series wireless speakers and positions the HD 10 Stream Connect as a capable streaming bridge for any audio setup.
The addition of Roon and Spotify Lossless marks a important step for Inklang, previously criticized for relying on lossy MP3 streaming through Spotify. The HD 10 Stream Connect can now function as a standalone streaming solution or integrate with existing audio systems through its digital and analog outputs. Owners of Inklang’s Ayers series speakers will immediately benefit, while users with other DACs and amplifiers can utilize the device as a dedicated streaming bridge.
The HD 10 Stream Connect is available in sandblasted, anodized silver, black, or “light gold” and retails for 749 euros. The firmware update is available to all existing HD 10 Stream Connect owners.
