Auto Shows Roar Back to Life: IAA Mobility 2025 Expects Record Turnout
The automotive exhibition landscape is experiencing a vibrant resurgence, with the upcoming IAA Mobility 2025 in Munich poised to attract a substantially larger number of participants, including a robust contingent from China.
Following a period of cancellations and digital adaptations during the COVID-19 pandemic, the traditional auto show format is once again proving its appeal. The gloomy days of uncertainty appear to be over, as industry events are drawing increasing numbers of participants and visitors.
The IAA Mobility Exhibition, held biennially, will open its doors from September 9 to 14, 2025. The event will span both the exhibition halls in the eastern part of the city, featuring a ‘Summit’ with higher ticket prices, and the ‘Open Space’ in the city center, where the public can freely experience the latest automotive innovations.
Key industry players such as BMW, Ford, American manufacturer Lucid, Mercedes, Opel, porsche, Smart, Turkish brand Togg, and Volkswagen have officially confirmed their attendance.
