Sherwood’s career at Humboldt, from 1989 to 1992, established him as a dominant force. his statistics speak volumes:

  • Second all-time in career goals: 32
  • Fourth in assists: 19

His exceptional 1992 season saw him become the first player in program history to achieve All-American status. That same year, he was honored as the Northern California Athletic Conference Player of the year. His achievements were formally recognized with his induction into the Humboldt Athletics Hall of Fame in 1999.
