Huawei Pura 80 Smartphones Return to Argentina After 6 Years

Huawei Returns to Argentina with Pura 80 Series, Utilizing EMUI 15

Buenos Aires – Huawei will begin selling its Pura 80 series smartphones in Argentina starting​ December 15, marking a return to the market. The international versions will operate on EMUI 15, a Huawei-developed alternative based on Android, and feature access to Huawei’s AppGallery.

While‌ compatible with Android, the Pura⁢ 80 will not offer the same application ⁣availability as smartphones from other​ brands. Users can alternatively install the Google app store, ⁢similar to the process used⁢ with Amazon fire tablets, though some application incompatibility may occur.

The Pura 80 series includes three models: the standard Pura 80, ‍the Pura 80 Pro, and the Pura 80 Ultra. The standard model features a Kirin 9010s chip,12 GB of RAM,256 GB of storage,a 6.6-inch 120 Hz screen, and a 5170 mAh battery. Its camera system includes a 50-megapixel normal lens, a 5x zoom, and a wide-angle lens.

The Pro version boasts a 6.8-inch⁣ screen and a ⁢camera setup⁣ with ⁤a 50-megapixel normal lens, a 4x telephoto/macro lens, and a ⁣wide-angle lens.The Ultra model adds a second 9.4x telephoto lens.Both the Pro and Ultra models utilize the Kirin 9020 processor.

Huawei will sell ⁢the⁢ Pura 80‌ series through Mercado Libre, but has not yet announced local pricing.
