Hope horses Launches $1.5 Million “Grow Hope” Campaign with Inaugural Dinner to Secure Permanent Facility
CULLMAN, ala. – Local nonprofit Hope Horses, Inc. is set to host its pivotal “Grow Hope” capital campaign dinner on thursday, July 24, at 6 p.m.at its Cullman facility. Teh event aims to rally community leaders, businesses, and advocates to support the association’s mission of expanding its therapeutic riding services and establishing a permanent home to serve more individuals across North Alabama.
The “Grow Hope” campaign has a meaningful goal of $1.5 million, earmarked for acquiring land, constructing a purpose-built facility, and enhancing programming, especially for underserved communities. Hope Horses is dedicated to empowering children and adults facing physical, cognitive, and emotional challenges thru the transformative power of equine-assisted horsemanship.
Attendees of the July 24th dinner can anticipate an evening featuring a four-course meal curated by Chef Lindsey Noto King, live musical entertainment, and impactful personal accounts from riders and thier families who have directly benefited from the program’s unique approach.
“This event is deeply personal to all of us,” stated Executive Director kelsey Scott. “Every dollar raised on July 24 helps us take a step closer to building a forever home-one where healing becomes possible through the power of horses.”
Josh wiggins, capital campaign chair and owner of Johnny’s Bar-B-Q, emphasized the broader impact of the initiative. “Hope Horses changes lives, and it’s time for our community to help them grow,” Wiggins said. “This isn’t just about land. It’s about giving more families access to something that truly works. I’ve seen what this program does, and I’m proud to be part of the movement to make it permanent.”
