honor Magic8 Pro Battery Capacity Varies Substantially by ⁢Region

The newly released Honor Magic8 Pro will feature differing battery capacities depending on the market, with European customers receiving a significantly smaller battery than those in China and ⁤other global regions. Honor ‍has confirmed the European Union version of ⁤the Magic8 Pro will house a 6,270mAh battery.

This represents a nearly 12% decrease in capacity compared to the 7,100mAh battery found‍ in the global variant, and‍ a larger drop from the 7,200mAh battery available in China. While the difference between the Chinese ⁢and global ‌models is less than 2%, Honor acknowledges the‍ 12% reduction for European users is substantial and likely to impact battery life.

Despite the reduction, the European Magic8 ⁣Pro’s battery is still 1,000mAh larger than it’s predecessor, the Magic7 Pro. Though, charging speeds will also differ; chinese models support up to 120W charging, while global and European versions are limited to 100W. Wireless charging remains consistent across all regions ‌at 80W.

Sources indicate the Honor Magic8 Pro will feature improved camera‍ technology, though it ‌will not include the 1-inch sensor reserved for the Magic8 ‌RSR Porsche Design‍ model.
