COACH & PLAYER REACTION:
“We had a arduous time today, it wasn’t an easy game. I had the feeling that we were missing five percent – in all areas. That was particularly noticeable with the first two goals we conceded. We weren’t as concentrated as we used to be. Who knows which is what the point at the end is good for. First we have to analyze the game and be better next time - that’s what I value,” said Cologne Head Coach Kari Jalonen.
Jan Luca Sennhenn commented, “It was a close game until the end, in which we unfortunately ended up in a penalty shootout and didn’t have a happier ending. For me personally, it was of course nice to have played a competitive game again after my injury.”
Cologne will return to home ice on Sunday, November 23rd, to face the Schwenninger Wild Wings, with puck drop scheduled for 6 p.m.
