QINGDAO, China – Hisense has solidified its position as a dominant force in the global television market, maintaining its lead in both the 100-inch-and-above and Laser TV segments, according to year-end shipment data from Omdia for 2025. The company held a 57.1% global market share in the 100-inch-and-above TV category, marking its third consecutive year at the top, and a 70.3% share in the Laser TV market, extending its leadership in that segment to seven years.
This sustained success is largely attributed to Hisense’s commitment to RGB MiniLED technology, which the company has pioneered. Hisense has invested heavily in the evolution of RGB MiniLED, moving it from initial research phases to large-scale commercial production. This focus has yielded advantages in color accuracy, brightness control, and viewing comfort, particularly on larger screens.
Omdia’s analysis of the 2026 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) highlighted RGB MiniLED TVs as a key driver of future industry growth, anticipating rapid expansion beginning this year. This trend validates Hisense’s long-term investment in the technology. At CES 2026, Hisense showcased the 116UXS, the first television powered by RGB MiniLED evo, alongside its UR8 and UR9 RGB MiniLED lineups and the Laser Projector XR10, all of which received multiple awards.
Hisense distinguishes itself as the only brand possessing a complete display technology ecosystem, encompassing RGB MiniLED, TriChroma Laser, and MicroLED. This comprehensive approach allows the company to innovate across a range of next-generation visual technologies. According to a press release issued February 3, 2026, Dennys Li, President at Hisense Visual Technology Co., Ltd., stated, “At Hisense, intelligent manufacturing starts from consumer needs.”
Founded in 1969, Hisense operates in over 160 countries, specializing in multimedia products, home appliances, and intelligent IT solutions. The company was recently recognized by the World Economic Forum (WEF) as a Customer Centricity Lighthouse factory in the TV industry, the first to receive this designation globally. This recognition stems from a comprehensive digital transformation undertaken by the Hisense Visual Technology Qingdao Factory, which integrated artificial intelligence, big data, and virtual reality into its research, development, and manufacturing processes. The factory achieved a Net Promoter Score (NPS) of 84%, reduced R&D cycles by 34%, lowered material costs by 18%, and shortened new employee training time by 60% as a result of these changes.
Hisense is also an official partner of the FIFA Club World Cup 2025™ and launched a global campaign, “Own the Moment,” to connect its technology with sports fans worldwide. The company has also partnered with French audio expert Devialet to enhance sound performance in its latest products.
