Al-Marsad newspaper: Two security sources told Reuters that the Lebanese Hezbollah militia fired a barrage of rockets at northern Israel in response to the killing of a number of its members in an Israeli bombing of southern Lebanon.
The party announced in a statement that it targeted the Israeli Baranit barracks on the border with Lebanon with five missiles.
Seven were killed as a result of the bombing, and a number of Hezbollah members were wounded during an Israeli bombing earlier during the day.
