Starr Finishes Strong at The Dominion Country Club
Starr finished tied for seventh in a field of 90 players at the event hosted in Texas. He completed the 54-hole tournament at 6-under-par 210, leading all three RMAC squads competing at the tournament. He opened the competition on Monday with a pair of even-par rounds of 72 before surging up the leaderboard during Tuesday’s final round.
The Englewood, Colorado native carded seven birdies in his final round alone, stringing together four consecutive birdies during a late surge. Starr played his final seven holes of the fall season at 5-under-par. He also finished second in the entire tournament field in par-3 scoring, playing the shortest holes at The Dominion Country Club in a combined 3-under par.
Starr Leads Mavericks with Four Top-Ten Finishes
Starr led the Mavericks in all five tournaments throughout the fall schedule. He recorded four top-ten finishes, including a co-victory at the San Juan Intercollegiate, while posting a 70.60 scoring average and ten par-or-better rounds out of 15 played.

The Cherry Creek High School graduate entered the final stretch ranked 46th in the SCOREBOARD Powered by clippd NCAA Division II Individual Rankings. He stands fifth among South Central Regional players and second among RMAC golfers. The latest weekly honor marks his second straight conference weekly award, following a previous nod on October 15. The conference did not issue an award on October 22 because fewer than half of the league’s teams competed that week.
