“I was just doing my solo ⁤’fit videos,” Bowers tells PEOPLE, “and then Scott would be off‌ in the corner dressed like me. one‍ day I was like, ‘Okay, I’m ⁢just gonna‍ surprise him [and have him] hop in with the video.’ ”

The series quickly gained traction, with viewers ⁤praising the couple’s creativity ‍and ​playful dynamic. But ​Bowers reveals ⁤the ⁢tradition began as a personal ‌affirmation. She‌ recalls a⁤ previous relationship where⁣ her ex-partner ⁤was “embarrassed to go out with me.”

“It’s funny because people think our relationship is ‘couple goals,’⁣ but it really started from a place ⁢of wanting to be‍ with ‍someone who celebrates who I ‌am, not hides ⁣me,” Bowers explains.​ “Scott genuinely loves my style and wants‌ to participate‍ in it.It’s incredibly validating.”
