Seven Arrested in Hartford Human Trafficking Examination; Three juveniles Recovered

HARTFORD, CT – A collaborative investigation by the Hartford Police Department and the Regionalized Human Trafficking Recovery Task Force has resulted in the arrest of seven individuals on charges related to human trafficking. The declaration was made by police officials on Wednesday, October 22, 2025.
Those arrested include Ahmad Compton, James Williams, Bernard Mickens, Raheem Jones, Donovan Dun, Tyrod jackson, and Tahjay Wilson. Authorities have indicated that the suspects face a range of charges, including trafficking persons and sexual assault.
Crucially, the investigation led to the safe recovery of three juvenile female victims who have as been reunited with their families.The operation marks a significant step in combating human trafficking within the Hartford area.
The investigation commenced in May 2025 following reports received by the Hartford Police Department’s Special Investigations Division concerning potential human trafficking activity. Following a thorough investigation, probable cause was established, and arrest affidavits were approved by the superior court.
As of Tuesday, October 21, 2025, all seven suspects were in police custody. Law enforcement officials confirmed that the investigation remains ongoing, and further arrests are anticipated as the inquiry progresses.
