A municipal representative from‌ Sáp, ⁣Hungary, is currently in pre-trial detention facing charges of human trafficking and forced labor, yet⁢ has not relinquished his position‌ on teh local ⁢council.

The‍ representative, a well-known musician within the 800-person village of Sáp in Hajdú-Bihar County, has been held as February.
