Guiricema Offers Extended⁢ vaccination Hours This Wednesday

Guiricema, MG – Residents of Guiricema will ‍have extended access to vital vaccinations this Wednesday, November 10th, as the ⁢City Hall, through it’s Health Department, hosts a special vaccination drive from 4:30 PM to⁢ 8:30 PM at the ⁤Guiricema Health Center – ‍Taboa. The extended‌ hours aim ⁢to improve access for working families‌ and individuals with daytime‍ commitments, ensuring broader community protection against‌ preventable diseases.

This initiative provides a crucial opportunity for residents of all ages to update their vaccination records and recieve protection against a range‌ of illnesses. Doses will be available for influenza (flu), COVID-19,⁢ HPV, ⁤dengue, and ACWY meningitis, alongside routine vaccinations‌ including yellow ‍fever, diphtheria, tetanus, hepatitis B, measles, mumps, ‌and rubella. The campaign is ⁣particularly important given ongoing public health concerns and the need to maintain high immunization rates to ‍prevent outbreaks.

Individuals seeking ⁢vaccination are required to present their vaccine card and either a SUS ⁤(Unified Health ⁤System) card or ‍CPF (Brazilian individual taxpayer registry) identification.

The campaign targets individuals from 6 months to over 60 years‍ of age, with specific focus on key demographics. Pregnant women, young children, and the elderly are prioritized for influenza vaccination, while COVID-19 doses will be available for children aged ⁢6 months to 4 years, adolescents, and priority groups. ⁣HPV ⁤immunization will‌ be offered to individuals between ‍9 and ⁣19 years old.
