Police said about ten attackers were dressed in full camouflage uniforms, bulletproof vests and armed with long-barreled weapons, from which they opened fire immediately.
The suspects fled in three cars, which were later found abandoned in a nearby town.
The 56-year-old Degamo died of his injuries in the hospital, the police confirmed.
