This collaboration, building on a strategic alliance forged in May, aims to develop innovative digital solutions for a range of critical functions. Key objectives include modernizing tax collection, automating disbursements for both individuals and businesses, and the deployment of a secure digital identity system. “This project is beneficial for the Gabonese state, as it will reduce costs and deadlines associated with administrative procedures, improve the quality of public services and strengthen citizens’ confidence in public administration,” a government statement released on Facebook highlighted. “It will also contribute to the economic advancement of the country by facilitating transactions and exchanges, which can attract investments and create jobs.”
