Fredrik skavlan Returns to Swedish Television with New Debate Program
Stockholm – Fredrik skavlan is set to return to Swedish television with a new debate program, “Skavlan and Sweden,” premiering September 4th on SVT. The proclamation marks SkavlanS return to Swedish broadcasting after a period focusing on international productions.
The program’s launch comes as Swedish public service television prepares for a busy election year. SVT intends to possibly include Skavlan in its election broadcasts next year,capitalizing on his established interviewing skills. Skavlan acknowledges a intentional stylistic departure from prominent Swedish debate leaders like Janne Josefsson and Robert Aschberg, both 73, known for their aggressive interview techniques. “I can’t be Aschberg and tough in any way,” Skavlan stated. “I’m not a cloud of conflict, but I choose a different way.”
