Multiple Detainees Held in Connection to Terror Offense
Authorities have apprehended three individuals in relation to the damage sustained by two aircraft at RAF Brize Norton. A fourth person has also been arrested. This Oxfordshire airbase is the largest of its kind in the United Kingdom, and the investigation continues.
Counter-Terrorism Policing South East announced that a 29-year-old woman, with no fixed abode, alongside two men, aged 36 and 24, both from London, were taken into custody. They face accusations of committing, preparing, or instigating terror acts, as defined by the Terrorism Act 2000. Furthermore, a 41-year-old woman, also of no fixed abode, was arrested on suspicion of aiding an offender. The arrests occurred on Thursday in Newbury, Berkshire, and in London.

Details of the RAF Brize Norton Incident
The arrests are connected to an incident early Friday morning when two aircraft were damaged at the RAF base. Palestine Action has claimed responsibility for the vandalism through an online video. RAF Brize Norton is a critical military facility, housing approximately 5,800 service members, 300 civilian staff, and 1,200 contractors.
Following the security breach, a comprehensive review has been launched across the entire defense estate. Authorities have described the incident as “absolutely staggering.” The individuals arrested are currently in police custody as the inquiry proceeds.
