A passenger was removed from an HK Express flight at Da nang International airport in Vietnam on Tuesday after a disruptive outburst stemming from a seating dispute, causing a nearly 90-minute delay.
the incident began in the departure lounge where the woman and her boyfriend were reportedly involved in a heated argument, with accusations of infidelity and physical assault. Witnesses recorded the escalating conflict as the woman became increasingly agitated. Upon boarding the aircraft, the situation worsened when she attempted to sit next to her boyfriend despite not having an assigned seat in that location.
Crew members attempted to de-escalate the situation, following established protocols, but the passenger became confrontational with three flight attendants, culminating in a physical altercation where one attendant allegedly fell. Both the woman and her boyfriend were later escorted off the plane.
HK Express released a statement commending its crew’s professionalism in managing the disturbance and reiterated that passenger safety remains the airline’s top priority.
