Teenager Killed, Another Injured in Houston Memorial Park Crash
HOUSTON, TX – A fatal single-vehicle crash inside Houston’s Memorial Park late Wednesday night left a 17-year-old dead and another teenager hospitalized with serious injuries. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, near the park’s golf course.
Houston Police Department (HPD) investigators report the vehicle, a silver passenger car, was traveling at a high rate of speed when it left the roadway and struck a tree. The driver, identified as 18-year-old Jose Ramirez, was transported to a local hospital in stable condition. The passenger, 17-year-old Ethan Nguyen, was pronounced dead at the scene.
