Viral TikTok Romance Revealed as Marketing Ploy
New York, NY – November 24, 2025 – A TikTok creator who gained widespread attention and boosted her brand through emotionally resonant videos detailing a whirlwind romance and subsequent heartbreak has admitted to fabricating the “romantic story.” Rosas, whose posts chronicled a relationship with entrepreneur Llambes, saw her brand’s success surge alongside the viral popularity of her content.
The elaborate narrative included a post detailing a trip to meet Llambes’s family, and a revelation that Rosas had a “crush” on his brother. Llambes’s brother,Roma,is also an entrepreneur, running an AI platform for consumer brands and reportedly supported his sibling’s business by developing a “full email campaign strategy.”
While the vast majority of comments on Rosas’s posts expressed support for the couple and belief in their love story, a recent LinkedIn post revealed she “created” the narrative. No such admission has been made on her TikTok or Instagram accounts.
The trend of sharing dramatic “story time” content on TikTok, often involving fictionalized or borrowed tales of romance and heartbreak, has been linked to attempts to “game” the app’s algorithm for increased visibility. Rosas utilized the hashtag on some posts without disclosing the fictional nature of the story or her and Llambes’s business connection.
On LinkedIn,Rosas has celebrated selling out collections and attributed the success to the viral “romantic story” shared on social media.
“This is certainly a reminder that we can’t believe everything we see on social media,” stated Kara Alaimo, a Professor of Communication at Fairleigh Dickinson University and author of “Over the Influence.” She added that content like this “can certainly set unrealistic relationship expectations, including the idea that riding a Parisian bus is the way to find your handsome prince.”
Daily Mail has reached out to Rosas for comment.
