Holiday Cheer & Community Support: Drag Queens to Headline Fundraiser for Solano County Theater Programs

Fairfield, CA – Local performer Antonio Lee, known on stage as Adrienne LaCielo, is headlining “Adrienne’s holiday Draguation” this Saturday at the Downtown Theatre in Fairfield. The event aims to raise funds for local theater programs, including the American Canyon Theatre Arts and the Downtown Theatre itself.

Lee, a UC Irvine graduate with honors, balances a full-time career as a performer and event producer. he recently completed a California drag tour following a summer performing with the UC Irvine Chamber Singers, who have graced stages in Ireland, Carnegie Hall, and Portugal.

“Adrienne’s Holiday Draguation” will feature performances from Amoura Teese and other drag performers, promising “an amazing night full of love and holiday cheer,” according to Lee. The show will include high-energy dancing, singing, and glamorous outfits, and is recommended for a PG-13 audience.

Beyond entertainment, the event carries a strong community focus. Lee explained, “My events are centered around educating and entertaining people while creating unique experiences.” He previously spearheaded the inaugural Hip Hop Culture Conference at UC Irvine, bringing in prominent figures like Fairfield native Richy Jackson, Rosero McCoy, Michele Soulchild, and Storm DeBarge – all entertainers who have collaborated with stars such as Kendrick Lamar, Michelle Obama, Beyoncé, Lady Gaga, and more. He noted the Hip Hop Culture Conference shared a similar mission to “Adrienne’s Draguation,” providing “a safe space for people to connect, learn, experience, and be a part of hip-hop culture in real time.”

The fundraiser will also incorporate a raffle and benefit from the support of local businesses. Seams When Pigs Fly, an American Canyon business, will sell cast T-shirts and sponsor a portion of the American Canyon Theatre Arts production Wish List by directly purchasing needed supplies for the school.

Solano Pride Center will also be present with a resource table. Lee emphasized the importance of community support, stating, “Now, more than ever, we need community support for live theater and marginalized people.” he added that the production’s cast reflects “the diversity of the Solano community” and will deliver “messages of love, support, and community.”
