Hulu integration Expands to disney+ Globally in 2026
Disney+ subscribers outside the United States will gain access to Hulu content directly within the Disney+ app beginning in 2026, the company announced today. This expansion follows the completed integration of Hulu into Disney+ in the U.S. earlier this year and marks the next phase in Disney’s streaming strategy following its full acquisition of Hulu from Comcast in June.
The move aims to consolidate Disney’s streaming offerings and provide a more comprehensive entertainment experience for international audiences. Currently, Hulu is not available outside of the U.S. This integration will bring Hulu’s library of original series, films, and next-day television episodes to Disney+ subscribers in all international markets, offering increased value and perhaps attracting new subscribers.Disney is simultaneously rolling out product updates to the Disney+ app, including a “more visual home screen,” improved navigation, and personalized recommendations.
Further enhancements to the Disney+ app are planned in the coming months, with Disney emphasizing a focus on improving the mobile experience through the addition of Widgets to the iOS app. The rollout of these changes coincides with upcoming price increases of $2-$3 per month for various Disney+ tiers in the U.S.
