He is confident that he will find a new job.
He doesn’t have a new job yet. Minnas G. * (30) lost his job as seasonal worker and employee at Lenzerheide Bergbahnen AG, because he was consuming pornographic films (LOOK reported).
The artisan is mad. He finds the termination without notice “exaggerated”. He says: “It was on my private tablet during the break.” His pants were always closed too.
«My mother finds my approach awkward»
After BLICK made the case public, it was discussed controversially. Even foreign media picked up on the story. G. now feels the hype about his person. “My mother finds it awkward that I show myself in public,” he says. A barmaid also spoke to him. “She said I shouldn’t watch porn anymore.”
But there are also positive reactions, Others congratulate him on his honesty. That is why G. continues to take his stand: “No, I don’t think I did anything bad.” He explains the situation again. “In the morning everything was ready for the ski lift to operate from 8:30 a.m.,” he says. “But because it was too early, I took a break and watched the pornographic films.”
He emphasizes that he was never warned in writing, but he admits: “Other members of the team had previously criticized me for consumption.” He didn’t want to hire a lawyer – for cost reasons. In his view, a process is not worth it. But he explains: «I am a member of the Unia union. I will ask there if they help me. »
Experience as a woodworker and roofer
On the advice of his uncle, he registered with the Regional Employment Agency (RAV) this week. “Now I’m writing applications,” he says. He was looking for a job in the “craft sector”, he wanted to “work with his hands”.
Because he can tackle it. The 30-year-old successfully completed his apprenticeship as a forest worker, worked for years as a roofer and last summer with a vegetable farmer. G. is confident that someone will hire him.
